S&W Is Shipping the Bodyguard 2.0 With the Dot Already On It
Three factory SKUs — thumb safety, no thumb safety, and 10-round compliant — list at $599 with a Viridian RFX1. The TS model is 12 ounces, .380 Auto, 10- and 12-round magazines in the box.

Smith & Wesson’s catalog now lists the Bodyguard 2.0 factory-equipped with a Viridian RFX1 green-dot reflex. The thumb-safety SKU 14785 is titled BODYGUARD 2.0 TS w/ VIRIDIAN RFX1. MSRP is $599. Specs on that page: .380 Auto, micro frame, 12 ounces, 0.88 inch wide, 5.5 inches long, 4.8 inches tall, 2.75-inch barrel, striker-fired, polymer grip, tritium sights, optic included, thumb safety. Capacity is listed as 10,12. It ships with one 10-round and one 12-round magazine plus optic tools.
The same $599 price appears on the NTS (no thumb safety) RFX1 model and the 10-round compliant RFX1 model. S&W’s copy: the Bodyguard 2.0 is “now factory-equipped with the ultra-compact Viridian RFX1 Green Dot Reflex Sight.” RFX1 features listed by S&W: 3 MOA green dot, auto-brightness and INSTANT-ON, up to 30,000 hours on a CR1632, IPX4, machined 6061 aluminum housing with integrated slide serrations.
This is a product page, not a range report. S&W is selling a micro .380 with the optic married at the factory instead of an “optics-ready” slide and a bag of plates. Street guns without the RFX1 still start lower on the same Bodyguard 2.0 family page. The $599 number is the optic package. State law still decides whether you can buy the 12-round magazine that ships with the TS gun.
