Congress Moves to Give Special Ops & Vets Nationwide Carry
New House bill grants active-duty special operators and veterans concealed carry authority in all 50 states — no state carve-outs.
The House of Representatives introduced legislation granting nationwide concealed carry authority to active-duty special operations personnel and their veteran counterparts. These are the men and women who trained for years, deployed into hostile territory, and kept this nation safe — and some states have been telling them they can't carry a pistol to the grocery store.
That's not just bureaucratic stupidity. That's a disgrace.
Special operations forces represent the sharpest edge of America's military machine. Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, Marine Raiders, Air Force Combat Controllers — these warriors qualify on weapons systems most civilians have never seen. The idea that a state permit requirement stands between them and their God-given right to self-defense is an insult wrapped in red tape.
Veteran special operators deserve the same recognition. A Green Beret doesn't forget his training the day he hangs up his uniform. His judgment doesn't expire. His skills don't lapse. Treating him like someone who's never touched a firearm is exactly the kind of condescending anti-gun logic that flows out of Sacramento and Albany.
This bill cuts through all of it.
Nationwide carry authority means no more patchwork of anti-gun state laws trapping veterans in legal jeopardy for exercising a constitutional right. It means a retired SEAL driving through New Jersey doesn't have to disarm himself like a criminal to comply with Phil Murphy's disarmament agenda.
Congress needs to move this bill fast — no amendments, no compromises, no watering it down to satisfy the gun-grabber caucus. Pass it clean and get it to the President's desk.
If you support our special ops community and veterans, contact your House representative today and demand they co-sponsor and vote yes. These warriors earned this right in blood. Time to deliver.
