CMMG Built the AR Suppressors Always Deserved

The CMMG ZEROED Banshee is the latest evolution of the proven Banshee line, and it draws a hard line between what the industry has been selling you and what a suppressor-first build actually looks like.

Most manufacturers treat suppressor compatibility as a checkbox. Thread the muzzle, slap a label on the box, call it done. **You get to discover the real story at the range — usually in the form of excess gas blowback, accelerated fouling, and cycling failures that make you question every round.**

CMMG engineered the ZEROED differently. The gas system, barrel configuration, and overall platform architecture are tuned from the factory to run with a can — not retrofitted to survive one. The result is a compact AR-platform pistol that doesn't fight itself when you thread on your suppressor. It just works.

If you've ever run a suppressor on a standard AR, you already feel why this matters in your lungs and your bolt carrier group.

The Banshee platform has always overperformed in the compact AR space — reliable, well-built, multi-caliber capable, and respected by serious shooters. The ZEROED variant takes that chassis and hands it directly to the hearing-conscious shooter who refuses to choose between performance and protection.

**And here's what the gun-control crowd will never say out loud:** suppressed shooting is *safer* shooting. Hearing damage from unsuppressed gunfire is real, cumulative, and irreversible. Suppressors are a safety tool — full stop. The Hollywood assassin fantasy is fiction. The tinnitus is not.

Every time a major manufacturer ships a suppressor-first platform like the ZEROED Banshee, responsible suppressor ownership gets a little more normalized. That normalization — lawful gun owners getting quieter, more capable, and better equipped through the federal NFA process — is a direct threat to the narrative that suppressors are somehow sinister. **They hate this. Build accordingly.**

The ZEROED Banshee belongs on your shortlist if you're shopping for a compact, suppressor-optimized AR-platform pistol from one of the most respected names in the industry. Find your local FFL, pull up CMMG's site, and start your Form 4.

The wait won't get shorter by waiting. But the hearing loss will get worse.
